Edward J. McNamara

Born into Eternal Life February 22, 2021, Beloved husband of Catherine nee Butler for a wonderful 59  years. Proud 2nd generation member of IBEW 134.

Loving father of Mary (Michael) O'Heron, Joanne (Charles) Davidauskas, and Edward P. (Patricia) McNamara.

Beloved son of the late Francis and Noreen McNamara.

Fond grandfather of Cate and Nora Davidauskas, Robert, Sarah, Daniel, Carrie, Emily and Julie O'Heron, Amanda (Alex) Durante and great-grandchildren Russell, Arlo and Wesley Durante.

Dear brother of five sisters, Dolores (the late James) Shea, Noreen (the late Richard) McKenna, the late Marlene (the late William) Donovan, Mary Catherine (the late Leo) Brady, Lucille (Barry) Erwin and three brothers, the late Francis (Margie), Jack (Thelma) and the late Jimmy (Marijo).

Adoring uncle to many nieces and nephews; fond friend to many.

Ed saw the good in people and was quick to dispel negativety. He was always ready to share his warm and fun spirit. He enjoyed duck hunting, Wisconsin, Florida and cooking holiday dinners and breakfasts for others. He liked helping Catherine with her garden and looking after family and friends. He loved his grandkids dearly and they knew it. Ed spent a lot of time praying for people, and we will miss that and so much more.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Cletus Roman Catholic Church, 600 W. 55th Street LaGrange, IL  on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:00 am.
