Frederick John Nickle,  Retired  CPD,  Veteran U S Army Reserve, 78, of Chicago, Il and seasonal resident of Clearwater Beach, Fl. passed away on June 29, 2022 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. He was born February 13, 1944 to  Chester and Vivian nee Bussian Nickle who preceded in him death.  He is the beloved husband of Gina nee Cirillo; dear brother of Beverly Fox (Nickle) and the loving father of Suzette Conroy, Laura (Paul) Willis, Rick (Melissa) Nickle, and Jennifer (Mike) Ahlgrim. Proud papa of Kailey Conroy, Lance Corporal William Conroy, III, US Marines, Nicholas Conroy, Isabella Willis, Joseph Willis, Marley Nickle, Maizie Nickle, Franklin Willis, Maxon Nickle, Morrison Nickle, Michael Ahlgrim, and Gianna Ahlgrim.

He is the loving Uncle of twenty-three nieces and nephews.  He also had countless number of friends.

Rick was a Chicago Police Officer for 37 years, a member of FOP, a Golfer and a Gambler.  He perfected the Bloody Mary and Vodka Lemonade.  He was a master thrower of Christmas Eve, and a True Gentle Giant.  He was the kindest man.

Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at St. Juliana Church  7142 N. Osceola Chicago, IL 60631.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM.
