Guadalupe Almazar  nee Santos passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2023.

She was beloved wife of the late Dr. Hernando Almazar,

Loving mother of Raul Almazar (John Balocki, DO), Ditas (Derry) Engel, and the late Rolando Almazar.

Fond grandmother of Alex, Andrew, and Adam Engel. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 21, 2023 at 10:00AM St. Julian Eymard at 601 Biesterfield Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation and Celebration of Guadalupe's life from 11:00AM – 2:00PM at Perry's Restaurant 1780 E Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173.

In keeping with Guadalupe's generous spirit, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Guadalupe's name to World Central Kitchen ( https://donate .wck.org/fundraiser/5046110) would be appreciated.
