Michael Wilson was born in Oak Park, IL, the son of the late Constantine and Spiridoula, brother of the late Helen, and fond cousin of the late John.  Raised in Oak Park he    attended Oak Park-River Forest High School.  He went on to become an accomplished and sought-after automobile mechanic for over 40 years.

Carolyn nee Whitmarsh was born in Binghampton, New York, the daughter of the late Caryl and Virginia and the sister of Roselyn and Marilyn. Raised in New York and Chicago she was a graduate of Morton East High School and Oak Park School of Nursing. Carolyn was a Nurse for 44 years, most of which were caring for United States Veterans at Hines VA Hospital.

Parents to Helen (Jack) Barbara (Gil), and Michael (Melanie).

Loving grandparents to Bryan (Christine) Bradley (Christina), Brooke (Tim), Vince "Hans Gates" (Genevieve), Nicholas (Margaret), Blake and Gus.
