Fond Uncle of Dr. Joseph (Barbara) Darby, Joanne Metz, the late Jodi Hockett, Michael S. (Careen) Smandra, late Norman D. Smandra, Vet. US Navy, late Susan Chowanec, Cinthia Forchione (Daniel) Ferraresi, Pamela (Dr. Michael) Macuga, Jason Reparsky, and Justin Reparsky.

Visitation 9:00-10:00AM, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at St. Michael Orthodox Church 7313 N. Waukegan Rd. Niles, IL 60714.
Funeral Liturgy 10:00AM
Interment with Military Honors will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, Il.
Steve was the first in his family to earn a college degree. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
Member of American Legion Post 42, Evanston,IL.

Steve was a devoted and lifelong steward of St. Michael Orthodox Church where his faith was a guiding light in his life. Steve lived each day with gratitude and love for his faith, family and friends.
